three-year accreditation

Center, recently received
its second consecu
tive three-year accredi
tation by Commission
on Accreditation of
Rehabilitation Facilities
International.
The three year rating,
which represents, accord
ing to a release, the high
est level of accreditation, is
an indication of the orga
nization’s dedication and
commitment to improving
the lives of developmen-

formed in 1956 to address
the special needs of develop
mentally disabled citizens
in Houston County. The
organization, according to
the release, provides com
prehensive and high qual
ity services to individuals
who are developmentally
disabled, helping these citi
paper report, he suggests the items
be repacked for outside storage and
excessive subcontractor’s charge be
eliminated.

A Perry man is listed as a competi
tor for the Air Force’s Airlift Rodeo. The
competitor is Jason D. Crowder, a staff
sergeant at the time. The competition,
according to the newspaper article,
includes airdrop operations, in-flight
refueling, short field takeoffs and land
ings and much more. It involves more
than 2,000 competitors

Air Logistics Center shares
with businesses their plans
and requirements for the next
three-five years.
The Requirements
Symposium, according to a
release, is a unique three-day
event where senior leaders and
managers at Warner Robins
ALC share their current and
future requirements and orga
nizational vision of the future.
Many different organiza
tions and individuals at Robins
are given the opportunity to
brief including (but not limited
to) Maj. Gen. Polly A. Peyer
(Commander, Warner Robins
Air Logistics Center), Brig.
Gen. Wendy Masiello, (Program
Executive Officer for Combat
and Mission Support, Office
of the Assistant Secretary of
the Air Force for Acquisition,
Washington, DC), 78th Airbase
Wing Commander, senior
staff members from the 330th
Aircraft Sustainment Wing, the
402nd Maintenance Wing, the
542nd Combat Sustainment
Wing, workforce development
officers, plus the individual
program managers and addi
tional ALC personnel having
future requirements and other
information helpful to contrac
tors.
This event, according to the
release, assures direct contact
with decision makers; program
managers, equipment special
ists, and human capital special- 1
ists with detailed information
on many on going and future
programs.

Halloween
safety tips

Friday is Halloween. The
National Safety Council urges
motorists to be especially alert,
watching for children darting
out from between parked cars,
on roadways, medians and
curbs.
At twilight and later in the
evening, watch for children in
dark clothing.
Parents are urged to provide
supervision for their children,
and to instruct them not to
