white silk organza posed over
taffeta beautifully enriched with

dress of teal blue with match
ing accessories and a corsage
of white phalaemopsis.

The bride recently graduated
from St. Joseph’s School of Nur
sing in Atlanta, and Is now ser
ving on the nursing staff of St.
Joseph’s Infirmary.
The bride was given away by
her father, Charles J. Biddulph.
The maid of honor was Mary
Frances Campbell of Atlanta.

The bridesmaids wore Wil
low Green floor length satin
dresses with a fitted sleeve
less bodice and sweetheart
scooped neckline. Highlighting
the setin midriff was a center
front inset princess panel
sweeping into a full skirt, a self
rose and bow accent the bust
line. The maid of honor dress
was exactly like the brides
maids except it was gold satin.
The hats worn by the maid of
honor and the bridesmaids were
a small rose with a soft veil.
The bride wore a wedding
gown of white dulcette satin.
The fitted bodice featured a
high bateau neckline and elbow
length sleeves. A plastron of
re-embroidered alencon lace
was appliqued on the bodice and
extended down the front panel
of the skirt. The carriage back
which extended into a chapel
train caught at the waistline
with a self bow. The veil of
silk tiered illusion was attach
ed to a pearl coronet. The bride
carried a cascade of white ros
es with a single white orchid.
The bride-elect is a graduate
of Decatur High School and St.
Joseph’s Infirmary School of
Nursing of Atlanta. At present
she is employed at Good Sam
aritan Hospital, West Palm
Beach, Florida.
The groom-elect is a gradu
ate of Georgia Tech with a de
gree in Mechanical Engineer
ing. He was a member of Delta
Tau Delta Fraternity and ser
ved as President of his Senior
Class. He is employed by Pratt
& Whitney Aircraft Corp., West
Palm Beach, Florida.
After a wedding trip to West
Palm Beach, Fla., Mr. and
Mrs. Evans will reside in At
lanta.
The wedding is planned for
October 5, at St. Thomas More
Church in Decatur.

S, C. where Mr. Hynes will be

Altar Society
To Hold Meeting
Following the business meet
ing, the Towanka group of the
Horizon Club will present a pro
gram for the Altar Society which
sponsors the Campfire Girls of
Sacred Heart parish.
All proceeds will be used for
the benefit of the patients at
the Home. There will be door
prizes and a drawing for a 1964
Chevrolet Impala, 4-door hard
top air conditioned car.

Veal Scallopini
2 pounds veal cutlets,
sliced 1/4 inch thick
l/2teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Flour
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms
1 » teaspoon parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 bottle ( 7 ounces) lemon-
lime carbonated beverage
1/4 teaspoon oregano
Season cutlets with garlic
salt and pepper, then dredge
in flour and pound lightly. Brown
meat on both sides in butter
in skillet. Remove meat and
set aside. Add onion ami mush
rooms to skillet and cook until
lightly browned. (Add a little
more butter, if needed), Stir in
parsley flakes, oregano, salt
and lemon-lime beverage,
blending well. Add browned
meat. Cover and simmer until
meat is tender, about 48 min
utes to 1 hour.

length sleeves. The bell shaped
skirt was accented by a large
self back bow with streamers to
the hem. Her matching hat was
a flat bow of organza with a soft
circlet veil. She carried a cas
cading bouquet of azalea pink
carnations and white baby
breath ri*»d with azalea ribbon.
