ice of Mr. Christie, and to apply the proceeds,

-but his opposition to any reasonable sale, as
me interested in his own right, whilst injuring

The Atheneum will be published orce a week,
on a super-royal sheet,and delivered toaubsciv
bers, or forwarded by mail, at Three Dollars a
year, payable in advance, or Four Dollars, il

and till a discontinuance is directed. No papei
discontinued, except at the option of the editor,

ed four wheel vehicles, drawn by four
horses each and driven by sober .and careful
drivers, will set out from Trenton in New-Jer

about the 15th of September next: The route
through Pennsylvania, Virginia and the Carol!•
nas, will be confined as much to the neighbor
hood of the mountains, as the good roads thro*

leisurely taken, so as to consume from four to.
five or even six weeks, dependent somewhat on
the inch ation of the persons who may become
passengers.
Those who are disposed to engage seats for
the above described joarney, can do so by ap
plying to the Post-master at Savannah. I* rior
ity in the choice of seats will be regulated by
numbering the first applicant one, which will
entitle that person to the first selection, and so
on to the last An entire carriage can be taken
up by engaging the number of seats.

land, suitable for the culture of Rice, Cotton or
Sugar; the remainder high land, with an exten

incurring expense, produce profit by the sale of
Shingles and other lumber, the proceeds of which
muse far exceed the expences of the labor. This
