Creek JlydWulic llotfre. 'Hie Wood,
the Georgia Gold, the Chestatee Flam
ing and Mining, the Dahlouega Min
ing, the Etowah ami Battle Branch,
the Aruiiealola Mining, and Mooro &
Harris Quartz Mill, Ac. Those in
White are the Lewis «& Sprague, the
Naccoochec Hydraulic House, and
Logan & Ashbury’s Mill. Besides
these, there were two companies char
tered at the last session of the Lpgis-
lature, the Nacooclicc Valley, and the
Hannay Mining Companies, coverin'
extensive and very valuable proper
ties, that will be in operation during
the spring or early summer. All these,
except Moore it Harris and Logan it
Ashbury’s Mill, are owned aud opera
ted by Northern capitalists, aud as
before stated, represent several mil
lion of dollars.
Besides these, there are ipdto a mini-
bcr'of individual companies composed
of frotn three to six nu n each, work
ing the deposits on the rivers, creeks,
and blanches, “on their own hook.”
