LOUIS FALLIGANT,
TUB PATI1BR TO TUB FMENDH OF MDERTV.
ritllE Anniversary of my Little Hope, bom
A from inisfortuno and an unfortunate old
French Republican Soldier, tho first day of
January last, will bo cclobratod the same day
evory year, objections exeepted, by a military
repository, of which the imporishablo names
of the founders of the American Republic,
written upon Burgees from lOto 30 feet long,
will he the principal ornament.
I dare (latter myself that the friends ef Li
berty will not neglect to visit the memory of
the great men who have known how to brave
the most horrible? slavery, rack, and death,
which were waiting fur them, if they had not
Vanquished the wretched monitor who hold
America chained, as Baron Frederick Trench
was during ton years’ imprisonment nt tins
fortress of Magdeburg, by command of tho
Great Frederick, Tyrant of Prussia.
Mr. Falligant’s good customers, friends,
and especially his beloved country Crackers,
will have the favour to bo purged with a few
drops of French balsam of life, which in bin
country mnkes the parrots speak, sing and
.hollow fluently in asliort time, and the young
rnen of his own village dance, jump anil stir
thcinselvos like cels, with their dear sweet
hearts, who very often give away to their
lovers tho swcutost kisses that iinturo enn
produce, which indeed make one and tlm
other feel extremely satisfied, and tho hap
piest mortals in tho world.
