A HE NEED OF A CITY HOSPITAL FOR ATLAN
TA has long been felt, but all efforts, heretofore, for
the establishment of such have failed, our people
being too poor to raise the money necessary for such
a purpose, and the depleted condition of the Slate
Treasury, such as to render successful legislation In
the matter, both impracticable and hopeless.
It is, therefore, proposed to
Aiipoul to nil Friends

to encourage an Increase of the private donations
already promised, whioh will render the scheme
success; and while the erection of such an Institu

and liberality of our citizens. It will bo lu keeping
with our onward march lu tho cause of civilisation
and progress.
