the -15 th pf September last, executed, in the name and behalf
of their conftituepts, a deed of fefiionto the United States,
of the right, title, interest, jurifdi&ion and -claim of the
state of Connedicut.to certain wettern lands, beginning. at
the 41st degree of north latitude, 120 miles weft of the
./ boundary line of tbe commonwealth of rennfylvania*
as now claimed by (aid commonwealth, and from thence
a line to be drawn nqrth*,parallel to, and 120 miles weft of
