T VWO engines may look
equally good, may even
work equally well for a
time. In the end one proves
satisfnctory, the other becomes
a nuisance, Why?
The satisfactory engine is
one . that is carefully built,
and thoroughly tested.
Thorough testing takes time
and .costs -money. It means
careful adjustment under trying
conditions. It is an expensive
process, but a necessary one if
the finished engine is to be
dependable.
1 H C Gascline Engines
Are Thoroughly Tested
No engine leaves the factory
until it. has proved itself thor
oughly dependable. That is
reason enough for buying an
i H C engine. Itisagood buy
because it is dependable—it is
dependable because it is thor
oughly tested. If youwanten
gine satisfaction for years to
come go to the local dealer and
buy an I H C gasoline engine.
it is the safe way and by fir
.the cheapest in the long run.,

Chat With My Many Friends
Husbands and wives give expres
sion to every petty feeling of irrita
tion and bandy words back and
fcrith titl some mole hill assumes
the proportion of a mountain. A
tendency to nag goes unchecked
among the children, and almost be
fore the parents are aware there is
chronic condition of unpleasantness
in the home. Young married peo
ple especially need to learn control
in this connection.
Another disagreeable trait to be
guarded against is the habit, pecu
liar to some people, is always being
on the opposite side of a question.
Call attention to the good points of
a book, a person, a public move
ment, a work of art, and what not,
and this individual is ever ready to
interpose, “Yes—but.” Conversa
tion in such a home gives one the
chills,
Easter is the symbol of life.
To make rvom for the life more
abundant, there must be a death of
the life insufficient, a death of old
desires, ambitious and aims which
are unworthy. Each year should
bring a fresh resurrection in our
lives—a death of the old life, poor
and mean, a resurrection to the new
life, hallowed and unselfish. We
must die to weakness to arise in
strength. We must die to unselfish
ness to arise in devotion. We must
die to strife and hatred to arise to
peace and love. We must die to
the things which are temporal to
arise to the things which are eter
nal. To all who have the clear
Easter vision, Christ is risen indeed
in the heart, to be alive forever more.
The home should be a place where
man is always on his gocd behavior;
our kindest words, our pleasantest
smiles, and our most particular
favors, should be kept to exchange
with our household.
