From all indications, Jeffries will be
welcomed by a capacity house when
he appears at the opera house in his
revival of "Davy Crockett” one night
next week. There has been a big de
mand for seats «ever since the an-
c
nouncement was v made of his coming
here, and from the first day the box
sheet opens there will be a continu
ous rush. Manager Griffln declares
there will be nothing but standing
room left for those who apply at the
night of the performance. There is
a widespread desire to see the cham
pion, and “Davy Crockett” is one m
those dramas which will always be a
favorite with American theatre-goers.
