IN POSTOFFCE
From a newspaper point of view,
all brides are “beautiful” and “ac
complished,” all grooms are “ris
ing” and “promising” and all dead
men are good men. If this Isn’t char-
its, what Is It?
“Wherefore I perceive that there
is nothing better than that a man
should enjoy the fruits of his own
labor,” for who shall bring him to
see how his children shall fight over
and squander it after him.

by the fact that recommendations
have been made for the purchase, of
entirely new furniture for the local
