This article differs essentially-front the
semiopaque, yollotv crystals, obtained hy
simple evaporation and purification of the
alchnholic solution.
-Oil of Black Pepper, (Precipitated,) n
powerful stimulant a.id valuable remedy in
typhus fever, also as all external stimulant
tinned with Decoction of Caiilharides in
Spirit of Turpentine.—Caution. An oil
of black pepper may he found in the mar
ket, obtained by distillatinn—this is Itv no
means ihe same as the article above descri
bed, and is very'feohle, if not entirely des
titute of the particular propeity for which
the above has been introduced. One
drop of nil til black pepper, added to six
grains of quinine, will greatly Increase Ihe
powers of this remedy.
Rxlrnrt df Quinine. This is the resid
uum of the preparation of-Quinine. T-vo
grains are fully equal to one oflhe former;
and, as it is less than one third the price, it
is of course much cheaper to the practition
er than the snlphato.
Citr.itcd Kali, for extemporaneously
making the saline draught. One drachm
of this salt dissolved in four ounces of wa
ter instantly forms the-fielitral mixture, e-
qual and similar in every respect to that
marie from fresh lemon juice,
Black Oxide df Mercury, lot extempo
raneously forming the blue pill. One-
fourth of n grainOqual to 'four ginins of
bine mass.
Solidified Balsam Copaiva. This pre-
tarartion contains- Me Oil and Resin, nnd
s rendered solid for the convenience of
foiiuinglrito pills. This nrlielo contains
all the virtues of IheCtrpaiVain 4 concen
trated degree.

therein specified, lo vest the same in the
stale.
B E it enacted by tho Senate and llouso
of Representatives of the Htato of
Georgia in General Assembly tnel. and
it is hereby Unacted by the authority ol
the santo, That every person who was a
fortunate drawee in the land lotteries hy
the authority of the riels passed on the fif
teenth dav "f Docembei, eighteen hundred
and eighteen, on the sixteenth day of De
centber, eighteen hundred and nineteen,
and on the fifteenth day of May, eighteen
lumdied and twenty-one, shall havo until
the first day of November, eighteen hun
dred tfnd thirty, Id lake out his, iter or
their giant upon paying into tlie Tree
