The public schools of the county
are now in full blast. Teaching the
yon.ig idea how to shoot is one of the
delicate duties of our county ciluca-
tors during these hot days
A large per cent, of those who up-
ply for license to teach in our public
schools fail to get them, <or the reas-
on that they fail to answer enough of
the questions sent out by the stato
school commissioner.
it is not the lack of means why the
various enterprises needed in our
town are not in operation, hut lnck of
public spirit. Thomasville is full of
resources, hut those who hold the
situation will not unlock the vaults.
Prosperity is not dependent on a
few individuals. Your widow’s mite
of push and energy will help to solve
difficult questions of our town’s pros
perity.
Our friends need not ho afraid of
wounding our tender conscience by
bringing nice, ripe, juicy melons to

Tho Value of Money.
Men of unlimited menu* hardly .ippre-
ciatc the value of just one dollar, but ivltli
the poor every dollar means so much ici!
and so much effort. It is a comfort to know
that the poverty stricken invalid can derive
so much good from so little expenditure
when they invest their dollars in It B It
(Botanic Blood Balm).
W C McGauhcy, Webb City, Arkansas,
writes: “B B It lias done me more good and
tor less money than any other blood purifier
I ever used. I owe the com tort of my life
to it.*’
A. I*. McDonald, Atlanta, Ga., writes:
“I had a running ulcer on my leg. Several
doctors failed to *!o it gooi. Three bottle*
of B B B effected j\ cure. B It B also cured
my brother of a running sore.*'
David Thurman, Atlanta, Ga, says:
“I was a constant sufferer for many many
years with ScroVuIa and Eczema. A few
bottles of B B B cured me.”
John M I)avis % Tyler, Texas, writes : ’‘I
was subject a number of years to spells of
inflammatory rheumatism, which six bottles
of B B B thank heaven, has entirely cured
I have not felt the slightest pain since.*’
