Mr. W. A. Moore, one of the fathers
of Willaooochee, has a breed of hogs
whose hoofs arc like those of a mule,
with no cleft.
Mr. Moore procured the stock from
Fcrnundinl, Fla, several yeara. ago,
and keeps it as near pure as possible.
They uro said to be cholera proof, and
a good evidence of this is that a year
ago Mr. Moore lost fifteen hogs from
cholera, but not one of the muie-
footed breed, although fed and bed
ded with the others, showed any
symptoms of the disease.
