The other heirs of J. J. Henderson
claim that while the deed was executed
never intended to convey title,
and was never delivered. The case hinges
on this point.
The hearing was interlocutory, to d*
termine if the plaintiff was entitled to in
junction to put her in possession of the
estate, awaiting a trial of the case by
jury.
Au injunction was denied and the cose
ill now go to trial in its regular order
in Turner Superior Court.
The plaintiff was represented by Hal
awson, of Abbeville, aud the defendants
by A. S. Bussey, of Cordele, aud J. H.
Tipton, of Sylvester.

COTTON CONSUMED

Washington, Oct. 14.—Cotton consum
ed during September totaled 491,313 bales
compared with 489,062 bales last year,
the Census Bureau announced today.

property.
The building and fixtures were sold to
Jen. Baker for $4,.*150, Mr. Baker already
aving an interest in the building amount
ing to $5,200.
A Republic truck was sold to J. J.
Golden for $1,010.
Notes and other items were sold to
different parties, the total proceeds of the
sale amounting to $0,722, not counting
the $5,200 increst of Mr. Baker in the
building.
