THE petition of John Webb, Administrator of Wilie
Cowart, deceased, respectfully shewetli, that he
has fully completed the administration upon said Estate,
and prays letters of Dismission therefrom. W hereupon it
is ordered by the Court, that all poisons having vallid ob
jections to said John Webb, administrator as aforesaid
being dismissed from the further administration of said
Estate, be and appear at the next Term of this Court,
which shall sit next, after the due publication of this rule,
then and there to make them, as in default thereof, this
Court will then and there proceed to grant letters of Dis
mission to said John Webb, administrator as aforesaid,
agreeable to the statute in caßcs made and provided; and
that a copy of this Rule be published in one of the Public
Gazettes of this State, once a month for six months.

AURARIA.
IN obedience to an order of the Court of Ordinary of
Newten county, the undersigned, as guardian ot the
orphans of Jesse Champion, will, at public outcry, Sell*
on the premises, all the Lots, in the town of AURARIA,
Lumpkin county, Georgia, beginning the sale of said
Lots on the first Tuesday in November next, and con
tinuing the sale from day to day until all will have been
sold. Lots vary in size, from sixty by one hundred
and five feet, to five hundred and fifteen by six hundred
and fifteen feet This thriving town is located on the
ridge dividing the waters of the Etowah from those of the
Chestatec; and as regards salubrity of air, purity of wa
ter, fertility of soil, and quantity of the most precious me
tal, is surpassed by no neighborhood in the Southern
States. In rapidity of improvement, it is unequalled by
any town or village in Georgia; and, as the do'Urccs of its
prosperity are inexhaustible, its importance must be du
rable. The terms will be made known on the day of sale.

No case of Cholera has occured upon the Canal nor ha3
there recently been any severe case of sickness or death.
There are at this time employed, from 500 to COO hand*

day, Wednesday and Friday mornings, and leave for Au
gusta, on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.—
This arrangement w ill open a direct communication by
stage tri-ivcekly with Augusta, Milledgeville; and week
ly with Pendleton, via Gainesville and Carnesville. The
stage will ulso run twice a week to Athens, Tennessee;
leaving Leathers’ Ford on Sunday and Wednesday morn
