“Which we won Id like to re
mark,'’ (in the lingo of ih late
Bret Harte) tin t, as a number of
our people are now sending their
laundry work to establishments in
other places, it would be a good
idea for some public-spirited and
enlerp/isuig citizen tJ establish a
laundry here. We are satisfied it
would pay, as such an institution
would not only secure the patron-
age of oui town people, but that
of quite a number of other people
throughout this and surrounding
counties. We believe it would be
a good investment, and we throw
out this suggestion for some of our
monied men to study over,

We wish to secure a good, live

keep the people advised as to what
is going on throughout the “Free
-State.”
During the cold weather of the
past two weeks, quite a number of
fine porkers have been slaughtered
in this county. By the way, why
do not our people give more atten
tion to the raising of hogs? We
see it stated in the newspapers that.
Georgia now stands very near the
head of the list in hog production.
Why not pot forth a little effort
and place her on top? Go at once
to raising more and better hogs.
