Spring Fashion Revue
Planned Here Next Fri,
Plans are being
finalized for an elaborate
Spring Fashion' Revue.
An evening of the latest
styles and colors will
adorn ladies, men, and
children from Perry,
Warner Robins, Macon
and Fort Valley.
This elaborate show
will climax Friday night
March 31st at Houston
AARP Offering Free
Income Tax Services
The American
Association of Retired
Persons is again this year
cooperating with the
Internal Revenue Service
in providing income tax
counselling to all persons
aged 55 or over. In Perry
there are 7 trained
counsellors who attended
a special school con

Perry Elementary
Talent Show Set
The Talent Show & Barbeque Supper for
Perry Elementary School is planned for
Thursday, March 23 at the school.
Tryouts for the talent show will be held on
Tuesday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at the Perry
Auditorium Annex. The talent show is for
Perry Elementary Students only.
Tickets for the barbeque supper are $2.25
each and $1.25 for a sandwich plate. The meal
can be taken out between the hours of 5-6:30
or eaten in the cafeteria from 6 to 8 p.m. The
tickets may be purchased at the door until
they are sold out or may be purchased in
advance from PTC members.

stated that the show
would be held at The
Perry Middle School,
however, it will be held at
the Holiday Inn.

Eastgate Shopping
Center branch of the
Bank of Perry. One is
held each Tuesday from 2
p.m. to 4 p.m. and one
each Saturday from 10
a.m. to 12 noon. These
will be held every week
through April 11th. If
these dates are not
convenient you should
call Milo Medlock, the
Perry tax coordinator, at
987-3859 for a special
appointment. There is no
charge for this service.
The changes in the tax
forms this year require a
full understanding to get
the improved benefits
available to most tax
payers. Regardless of the
question you are assured
of the correct answer
from these AARP tax
counsellors for if it is
something requiring
special consideration
they contact the Atlanta
IRS office direct for in
structions.
Be sure to bring your
copy of your return for
last year, along with your
personal records of your
income sources,
charitable, medical and
other deductible ex
penses, and the notice
you received from the
IRS covering income tax
reports due. There is no
obligation for this help.

Cancer Memorial Award
Mrs. Emma Ree Pitts (c) accepts the Cancer Memorial Award for her
late mother Mrs. Ida Mae Bass from Bobby Tuggle (R), chairman of the
board of the Perry Cancer Society. Also shown is Mrs. Ruby Tharpe (L)
long-time member of the Perry Cancer Society Board. The award is from
Mr. and Mrs. Leon Green of Dublin and will be on display at the Perry-
