venson lodge Knights'of Pythias No.
26, and family of Past Chancellor'T. C.
Black:
BretheEn: “Death loves a shining 1
mark” an<5 never could the truth ot this
quotation apply with more force, thah
at this hour, when the Great Reaper
placing our brother’s hand in his own,
and pointing across Ihe dark valley
bade him come.
This, summons ended a noble life;
though brief, had given evidences of
noble traits of character, and such rich
intellectual, and business attainments,
as to make him a shining light.
His intercourse with men had en
deared him to a large circle of friends,
foremost among them many of our no*
his genial
b»le Order, who, now miss
- companionship and earnest labor in the
cause of human brotherhood.
His zeal and fidelity are worthy of
onr emulation, and the memory of his
bright happy disposition and. his um
changing friendship and love, for Jihe
members *of his lodge and the order,
should be emblazoned upon a page of
the pages' of the ^history of this lodge,
and carved deep upon, the walls of our
Castle hall. . J-
“As sinks thefsun beneath the west.
And shadows of the night close in
So has our brother sunk to rest;.
From toil and sorrow, pain and sin;
And as the Orient sun shall rise,
' And shine with undimioished ray, V
So shall the form that how lowly lies
Be raised to life in that great day.”

BEGINNING
A Prominent Memphian Writes.'
Di. H. Mozley, Atlanta—Having been a great
sufferer for three years from indigestion, and
been treated by many physicians, who failed to
give me any relief. Continuing to grow worse
my brother advised me to try Dr. Mozley’s Lem
on Elixir, which remedy he had used for sever
al years. 1 I commenced its use, and must say
that your Lemon Elixir is the greatest medicine
on earth. I have never suffered a day since I
commenced using Lemon Elixir.
