*87,000. The buyer was Mrs. Louis J.
Trounstine. and the seller A. F. .Tones,
of Bibb County. This was the last
purchase Mrs. Trounstine made be
fore sailing 1 this week with her fam-
f ily for Europe.
I ' The lot is 50x1 50 feet and holds a
two-story brick building, which rents
for $4,500 a year. There are three
years of the present lease to run,
and the motor car company has an
option to continue the lease at the
end of that time, though at a higher
rental. The property is on the west
side of the street, Viet ween Baker
and Ivy Streets, it was formerly used
for residence purposes, like several
houses which still stand in this block.
Louis .1. Trounstine was the pur
chaser a short time ago of a valuable
parcel on Decatur Street, details of
which have been announced.
Peachtree Road Sale.
Mrs. Mabel H. Moody has sold,
through the Burdett Realty Company,
to Kenneth (\ McRae a large resi
dence lot on Peachtree Road. 200 feet
northeast of Piedmont Road, for $10,-
000. This is lot No. 7 of the county
almshouse property, and is in a neigh
borhood of fine homes recently built.
Growth in Building.

but the real estate men declare the
good weather of the ^resent will soon
reverse the figures.
Peachtree Auction Sale.
Buyers of lots in Peachtree Height*
the E. Rivers subdivision, just north
of Peachtree Creek, are congratulat
ing themselves to-day on having ac
quire some genuine bargains. Twen
ty-four lots offered yesterday attar -

age of $1,813 a lot. The lots were
large, none less than 60 feet frontage.

Whitehall Street Sale.
Cater Woolford has bought of Mrs.
Jennie I.. Chapmi.n, through tin- Ruff
Sims Real Estate Agency, 457 White-
. hail Street, 67x200 feet to the railroad,
for 52 :,000, or at the rate of $344 a
front foot. This property is on the
north side of the street between Mc
Daniel and Humphries Streets.
Ivy Street Work Progressing.
Good progress has been made this
week on the Ivy Street regrading
work. At the point of the greatest
fill, between Bake) and Peachtree
Streets, hundreds of cubic yards of
earth have been put in. until the av
erage depth is some four or five feet.
Peachtree's Now Paving.
The county convicts are making
fast work of Peachtree repaving be
tween Sixth and Fifteenth Streets.
The work started at Sixth Street and
! '.s progressed northward nearly to
Eleventh Street, where the top layer
1 ) ’ of paving is yet to he laid. The new
paving looks good, and autornobilists
are already using a part of it. Com
ing back, the convicts will start at
Fifteenth Street. The space between
the car i ak- hua not been touched.
Where Is Mr. Babbage?
Realty prospects who went to the
Candle" building to-day to see John
I). (“Ask Mr."> Babbage were sur
prised to find that he had moved his
real estate offices. They weie greet-
