and basement residence, costing $30,-
000, on the west side of Peachtre?
Road directly north of Jack J. Spald
ing’s "Deerland.” Mr. Haverty has
received plans from Edward E.
Dougherty, architect, and will let the
contract shortly. This residence will
be of white tapestry brick, and some
of the features will be French win
dows. a loggia and wide terrace in
front, a sleeping porch, a sun parlor
and tile roof. Mr. Haverty has six
acres of the original “Deerland” es
tate. with a frontage of 300 feet and a
depth of 800. In this immediate
neighborhood are the E. R. DuBose

Mrs. Ida A. Turner has filed an
application for a building permit on
