MCG chooses Sapp for
summer residence
Jenkins County High School junior Latranese Sapp has been
accepted into the 2009 Pre-College Student Educational En
richment Program at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG).
She was selected from a highly competi
tive group of academically talented col
lege bound applicants who are interested
in pursuing careers in the health profes
sions, based on her academic and per
sonal qualities. This is a six-week sum
mer residence program based at the
MCG. Latranese was recently honored
as being a member of the top five percent
of the junior class academically and be
ing a Georgia Certificate of Merit

Eagles struggle
The Jenkins County High
School Eagles baseball team
ended last week with a one win,
two losses record.
The Eagles defeated Burke
County 10-7.
Leading hitters: Aaron
Comstock 4-4 with a homerun
and a double; Dag Gay 1-1;
Spencer Clark 2-3; Josh Lee 2-4
and 2 RBI’s; and Akeem Young
1-2. Will Bragg and Houston
Bowers both went 1-3 with 2
RBI’s.
“Will Brinson pitched a great
game getting the win with six
strikeouts. Trevor Weathersby
came on in relief to get a save
giving up only one hit,” said
Coach Wendell Clark.
The Eagles lost to Aquinas 12-
8.

“Calvary’s pitcher was ahead
of us 0-2 all day. It makes it very

very good team. Aaron Tanner
came in relief to get a ground ball
double play to end the inning,”
said Coach Clark.

foreclosed by First Southern National
Bank. The Deed Under Power of Sale is
recorded in Deed Book 57, page 324,

The indebtedness secured by said
Deed to Secure Debt has been and is
hereby declared due and payable in full
by reason of default under the provi
sions of said Deed to Secure Debt and
the terms of the Note secured thereby,
and sale will be made for the purpose of
applying the proceeds thereof to the
payment of the indebtedness and inter
est thereon, attorney’s fees and ex
penses of sale, and the balance, if any,
shall be applied as provided by law.
To the best knowledge and belief of
the Lender, said property will be sold as
the property of Evans Construction Co.
and is being sold subject to any and all
liens superior to this lien, outstanding
ad valorem taxes, and easements, re
strictions against the property, if any.
The undersigned will execute a deed
to the purchaser as authorized by the
aforementioned Deed to Secure Debt.
