To declare standing pools of water,
and low or wet places within the
limits of .the city of Brunswick, a
nuisance, and to provide for the
abatement of same.
Section 1. Be It, and it hereby ordained by
the Havin' and Council ol the city of Brunswick,
In Council assembled, that from and after the
passage of this Ordinance, the allowing pools of
Water to stand for any length of time, upon any
lot iff land, within the limits of said olty, is detrf-
mcntaltothe nubile health and safety and is
hereby declared to be a nuisance; and each and
every owner of any lot in said city upon which
pools of water oollcct, le hereby^ required, upon
a written request of tho Bonrd of Health of said
city, to All up inch lot with additional earth, or
to ditch and drain said lot. eo that such standing
water shall bo removed therefrom, and all wet
or marshy soil shall become dry land.
