Sunday sent out a launch flying a

the impression that the lowa was
displaying a white flag. The
Spaniih Officers on the launch
said that it was supposed the bat- ,
tieship wished for surrender.
Investigation showed several
things on the lowa which might I
have caught their eyes, the moat
conspicious being Captain Evans’ I
