A. Thomas, a seventeen-year-old
boy of Gladstone, Greene County,
yesterday for attempting to wreck
an Ohio Southern passenger train
near Jeffersonville last Thursday.

joint and firmly fixed a fish plate
over the rail in a manner that
would surely have ditched the
tain. A section crew made the dis
covery and removed the plate a
few moments before the passenger
train came thundering along, pre
venting a horrible accident.
Young Thomas has confessed and
says he wanted to throw the train
off the track for fun
