The farmers in this section are very
much discouraged about the cotton
crop as it is very slow about coming
up. Never get discouraged.
Our Sabbath school seems very inter
esting to all and we have large crowds.

The Mesena school closes Friday.
They will give an ice cream festival
Friday night for the benefit of the
school. Every one is invited to come.

ladies visited Thomsou Tuesday.

preached at Mesena Sunday night, and
etayed while in Mesena, with Mr. S.
M. Hall.
Miss Georgia and Mr. Byrd Ferry,
and Mr. Poleman Waller, of Union,
visited our town .Sunday.
Mis. E. T. Geeter, who has recently
beeu visiting Iter father, returned last
week to her home in Caniak.
Miss Amy Baston spent Friday night,
Saturday and Sunday at Mr. Ben
Waller's.
Miss Minnie Carlledge, with her fath
er, Mr. Berry, spent Tuesday in Thom
son.
Mr. John Bolder, of Fountain, was
at the home of Mr. S. M. llail Saturday
and Suuday.

cold weather began. Perhaps “it” was
frozen out.
