Money Ready For The School
Teachers.
A warrant for $256,000 was
drawn by Governor Terrell Thurs
day in favor of State School Com¬
missioner Merritt for the purpose
of paying the school teachers of
the state money that is cue them.
The money will reach the peda¬
gogues in time for Christmas, and
they will no doubt be made hap¬
py at the coming of the funds,
They have been waiting patiently
for some time for the coin to come
to them and the announcement
that they are to be paid will be
the occasion of mucn rejoicing in
many of the school houses.
Mr. Merritt has been busy for
several days making out the
amounts of money due each coun¬
ty and these will be turned over
to State Treasurer Park at once,
who will send out the checks to
the county commissioners for
payment to the tsachers.—Atlan¬
ta Journal.
No More Suffering.
If you are troubled with indigestion
get a bottle of Kodol Dyspepsia Cure and
see how quickly it will cure you. Geo.
A. Thomson, of Spencer. In., says:
“Have had Dyspepsia for twenty years.
My case was almost hopeless. Kodol
Dyspepsia Cure was recommended and
I used a few bottles of it and it is the
only thing that has relieved me. Would
not be without it. Have doctored with
local physicians and also at Chicago,
and even went to Norway with hopes of
getting some relief, but Kodol Dyspep¬
sia Cure is the only remedy that lias
done me any good, and I heartily recom¬
mend it. Every person suffering with
Indisgestion or Dyspepsia should use it.”

RECTOR OF ST. LUKE’S,
Ashburnham, Ontario, Testifies
to the Good Qualities of Cham¬
berlain’s Cough Remedy.
Ashburnham, Out., April 18, 1908.—
I think that it is only-right that I should
tell yon what a wonderful effect Cham¬
berlain’s Congh Remedy has produced.
The day before Easter I was so distress¬
ed with a cold and cough that I did not
think to be able to take any duties the
next day, as my voice was almost chok¬
ed by the cough. The same day I re¬
ceived au order from you for a bottle of
your Cough Remedy. I at, once procur¬
ed a sample bottle, and took about three
doses of the medicine. To my great re¬
lief the cough and cold had completely
disappeared and I was able to preach
three times on Easter Day. I know that
this rapid and effective cure was due to
your Gough Remedy. I make this testi¬
monial without solicitation, being thank¬
ful to have found such a God-sent rem¬
edy. Respectfully yours,
E. A. Langfeldt, M. A.,
Rector of St. Luke’s Church.

W. S. Witham, president of for¬
ty-oight banks in Georgia has de¬
vised a scheme to make cotton
bring 10 cents all the time. His
plan is to have Southern banks
furnish money to handle the crop
through a system of warehouses,
9ay a hundred or more in each
state. Farmers will deposit their
cotton there and the banks will
loan them 80 per cent, of the mar¬
ket value of cotton stored and in¬
sured on warehouse receipts.
The scheme is a gigantic one,
but as it would have something
like $1,000,000,000 back of it, it is
deemed entirely feasible. It is
simply a plan to corner the cot¬
ton market. Farmers would be
guaranteed 10 cents, as no cotton
would be sold until the demand
created this price. The thing
looks good on paper, and it can
be done provided too much cot¬
ton is not made.—Reporter.
