-To Don Norris, re-elected District
Commander of the 6th District,
American Legion which covers 24
posts within 15 counties. This is a
one-year position; his term of office
will be from August 1 through July
31. This meeting was held at Post
3 in Macon and is the first time in
history that the 6th District has
been in Ist place among districts in
Georgia. The American Legion
Convention will be held in
Gainesville, Ga. the weekend of
July 23. On September 11, the
posts in the 15 counties of District
6 will meet at 1:30 p.m. at Post 17
in Dublin, Ga.

Warner Robins and William Brian
Yeomans Jr. of Jones County who
were married April 22 at First
Methodist Church in Warner
Robins.
-To the Westfield Class of 1984
upon their celebration of the 10th
anniversary of their graduation.
Activities for the past weekend in
cluded a cocktail party at the home
of Levin Pritchett's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Allen Pritchett, Jr.; a pic
nic cookout on the grounds of
Westfield Schools on Saturday at
noon; and a dinner party Saturday
evening at the Officers Club at
RAFB.

77 on June 18, featured in Bill
Boyd’s 75-and-Over Happy Birthday
Club.
-To Tamilee GTennel Watson of
Perry and James Glenn Palmer of
Pelham, who were married March
19 at Perry United Methodist
Church. The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Glen
Watson and the groom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm M. Palmer
Jr. After a wedding cruise to the
Bahamas, the Palmers are living in
Statesboro.

Perry Kiwanis Club as new mem

which had its final presentation

Robins. He was a co-lawyer in that
office with the late Mr. Frank
Green of Perry, and has friends in
this area.

graduated from Mercer University's
School of Engineering on June 12
with the BSE degree in mechanical

Agricenter. A combined choir of
all churches will present the musi
cal "God With Us". Tom Hardly, a
creator of "God With Us" will be
present and will serve as worship
leader.

the music in hand and are beginning
to practice.
The Praise Team is composed of
