in the area. The woman's
neighbor said he was in
his back yard working on a
car and he did not here any
gunshots.

taking, criminal trespass at
a Raymond Drive, Winder,
address.
A man said someone
damaged his vehicle, and
removed a TomTom GPS
Unit from within the center
console.
The vehicle was sitting
on the right side of the resi
dence, between the man's
home and the neighbor’s
home.
The vehicle’s driver side
window was laying on the
ground in several pieces
outside of the car.
•neighborhood complaint
in Pinebrook subdivision
in Auburn. A woman said
she was walking with her
children to visit friends at
another Pinebrook resi
dence when a dog came
down the road.
Then another resident
yelled at her about her chil
dren riding bikes in the
street without helmets on
and their dog causing her
dogs to bark, the woman
said.
•burglary at a Smokerise
Lane, Auburn, residence.
A property realtor, who
said the property is up for
short sale, said she came
by to take pictures of the
residence and found sev
eral copper pipes cut and
missing. She estimated the
damage at $500 to replace
the copper lines.
•entering auto, theft by
taking at a Summerfield
Court, Winder, residence.
A woman said she walked
outside to her vehicle and
noticed the center console
and dash were open.
There were miscellaneous
papers lying on the front
driver and passenger side
seats that were inside of the
console and dash.
She said she then noticed
that two of her laptop com
puters and a grey CD case
that contained approximate
ly 300 DVDs were missing.
The total value of the theft
is $7,350.
•financial transaction
fraud at a Springfield Trail,
Bethlehem, residence. A
man said someone had made
eight fraudulent charges
on his Wells Fargo Visa
debit card, which equal to
$230.86.
•suspicious incident at an
East Brook Drive, Winder,
address. A deputy was
asked to respond to a grey
vehicle parked in the drive
way of a vacant home.
The deputy found a 1985
Mercury Grand Marquis
registered to a Forest Way,
Bethlehem, man. The keys
were still in the ignition
and a bag of tools with a
pint of whiskey sticking out
of it were in clear view.
•Suspicious incident at a
Creekwood Road, Winder,
residence. A woman said
she was in her house and
heard two people walking
around outside her home,
possibly drunk.
She said she heard the
dog chain on the front porch
move. The woman said she
never saw anyone outside
the house.
•harassing telephone calls
at an Arch Tanner Road res
idence. A woman said her
grandson has a safety plan
by Walton County DFACS
for her great grand daugh
ter.
The woman said the
mother of the child, who
she said has a meth prob
lem, calls the child con
stantly and demands to
speak to her, lives from
place to place and has no
rights to the juvenile child
at this time.
A responding deputy
advised the woman to con
tact the Barrow County
District Attorney’s Office
to obtain a Temporary
Protective Order. The
woman said she is afraid
that the child’s mother will
come try to get the child
while her grandson is at
work.
The woman said she is
70 years old and does not
think she can keep the
child's mother from taking
the child away.
The deputy told the
woman to keep a log of
every time the mother
calls her house and take
it with her to the District
Attorney's Office.
•theft at a Dee Kennedy
Road, Winder, residence. A
woman said an economy
car battery was taken from
her front porch valued at
$90.
•harassment at a Hwy.
124, Hoschton, residence.
A woman said her ex-hus
band keeps sending her
messages via a third party,
telling her she is going to
lose her home.
The woman said her hus
band sent a text message,
demanding she pay him
$125, and told her if she did
not, he would have a war
rant taken for her arrest.
•damage to property at a
Rat Kinney Road, Statham,
residence. A woman said
she noticed damage to her
front door and two bolts
missing from a hinge on her
garage door.
•criminal damage to prop
erty at the Winder Barrow
Airport. An employee said
she found the keypad to
the gate had been run over
and it would cost more than
$599 to replace.
•suspicious incidents at
an Allen Circle, Winder,
residence. A man said a man
he did not know knocked
on his door, waking him
up. The man said the other
man kept calling him by the
wrong name.
He said the male contin
ued to knock on the door
and eventually began bang
ing his head on the door.
•damage to vehicle at
a Tanners Bridge Road,
Bethlehem, residence.
A man said he was drop
ping off a trailer at the
rear of his residence, but
as he began to drive away,
the trailer broke free from
the logs and rolled down
a small hill directly into
another vehicle.
•complaint at an Avalon
Trace, Winder, residence. A
woman said she called 911
because an unknown white
male was riding his dirt
bike up and down the road
in the subdivision speed
ing.
•custody dispute at an
Evergreen Drive, Winder,
residence. A man said his
child's mother is not allow
ing him visitation with his
juvenile daughter.
The man has a custody
agreement, which allows
custody of his daughter and
she is legitimatized. The
man said he hasn't been
allowed to see her since
July 28, 2011. He said
whenever he calls t
he child's mother she
hangs up on him and will
not answer the phone when
he calls back.
•civil property dispute
at a Dee Kennedy Road,
Auburn, residence. A man
said he moved out of a rent
al residence several weeks
ago and he left behind sev
eral riding lawnmowers and
a piece of art.
He said he has not
attempted to contact his
former landlord to get the
property back.
The man said he felt since
he was not served with an
eviction, his landlord did
not have the right to take
the items from the resi
dence.
•criminal trespass on
Matthews School Road
SW near Williams Road in
Winder. A sheriff's deputy
saw an open fire hydrant
spewing a large amount of
water.
The water was gushing
across the roadway and
flooding the surrounding
area. No one was around
the hydrant. The City of
Winder Water Department
was notified and arrived on
scene to secure the hydrant.
The water gushed for 1
hour and 3 minutes. The
employee said this is the
second time in two weeks
this same hydrant has been
opened.
Lying on the roadway
beside the hydrant was a
black iPhone belonging to
a 17-year-old Statham girl.
The deputy attempted to
contact the girl, but there
was no answer.
Her phone was taken into
evidence.
•domestic dispute at a
Fort Street, Winder, resi
dence. A woman called 911
after she suspected the per
son banging on her side
door was her daughter who
she also suspected was on
drugs.
A deputy responded
and met with a 21-year-
old woman who identified
herself as a resident who
needed help getting in her
house. The woman said her
mother would not let her in
the house.
She also said she she mis
placed her key. The hom
eowner met with the deputy
and said that she does not
want her daughter living
with her anymore because
she has a drug problem.
She valued the damage to
the side door due to the
banging at $200.
•suspicious incident at a
Bethlehem Road, Statham,
residence. A woman said
someone knocked on her
door.
While in route, a respond
ing deputy saw a white man
walking on the side of the
road hitch hiking in front of
the woman's address.
After making contact, the
deputy reported immediate
ly noticing a strong odor of
alcohol.
The man, who said he
lived next door to the
woman, told the deputy that
he knocked on her door
because he wanted a ride to
the gas station. He said she
did not come to the door,
so he left. The deputy told
the man to go home and to
stay off of other people’s
property.
The deputy talked to the
complainant who said she
was tired of him asking her
for rides and did not want
him on the property. She
was told to contact 911 if
he returns.

a Lokey’s Ridge Road,
Bethlehem residence. A
man said he called 911
because he needed to report
he lost his wallet. The man
was arrested on a failure to
appear warrant.
•burglary at a Harvey
Lokey Road, Bethlehem,
residence. A woman said
someone entered her house
and took six Coach purses
and cash money, valued at
$1,420.
•first-degree forgery
at a Manning Gin Road,
Bethlehem, residence. A
woman said someone took
two of her personal checks.
The woman said the two
checks were cashed total
ing two thousand and eight
hundred dollars and the sub
jects who cashed the checks
forged her name without
her permission.
•entering auto at a Carl
Bethlehem Road, Winder,
residence. A man said
that someone went inside
his Jeep Grand Cherokee
and stole miscellaneous
tools valued at more than
$1,000.
•battery family violence,
criminal trespass, inter
fering with 911 call at a
Jericho Road residence.
•criminal trespass at a
Smokerise Lane, Auburn,
residence. A woman said
she left for work and
returned home and noticed
the front door was dam
aged. She valued the dam
age at $15.
•abandoned vehicle on
Burson Maddox Road. A
Hickens Way, Winder, man
said he called 911 when he
saw a gold Nissan Stanza
flipped over. The man said
when he approached the
vehicle, there was no one
inside or around it. The tag
number was traced back to
a Winder man. The vehicle
was towed.
•civil dispute at a
Rockwell Church Road,
Winder, residence. A
woman said the mother and
father of her granddaughter,
who do not have custody or
parental rights, are harass
ing the child by phone.
A responding deputy told
the woman to record any
calls she receives in the
future and not delete any
messages in case she ever
does go back to court.
•fraud at a Fletcher
Drive, Winder, residence. A
woman said someone con
tacted her via instant mes
sage and told her that they
had found her resume for a
particular position.
The woman said she inter
viewed for the position via
instant message and was
told that she was hired and
it would be a work from
home position.
She said she was told that
she needed to buy some
programs to ensure that she
was able to complete the
job and the company would
send her a check to buy the
programs.
•welfare check at a
Carriage Drive, Bethlehem,
residence. A man called 911
and reported he received
a call from his ex-wife,
who was crying to the point
where she was not under
standable and said she had
a weapon and she planned
to kill herself.
Deputies arrived at the
residence along with a med
ical unit and began attempt
ing to make contact at the
front and side doors of the
residence.
While Central Comm
unication tried to relocate
the complainant, a depu
ty checked inside a truck
located in the driveway. The
vehicle was unlocked and
had some paperwork in the
front seat. The paperwork
was from The Carl House
in Auburn and indicated
that the “ex-wife” recently
got married.
The deputy contacted
the Carl House employee
listed on the paper as the
woman’s wedding director
and asked if she had any
contact information for the
woman or knew her current
location.
The employee said the
woman was just married
and had left the country for
her honeymoon.
Central Communications
was still unable to contact
the complainant despite
numerous attempts to call
the number he provided.
All units left the residence
and no further action was
taken. The deputy reported
that the complainant prob
ably falsely reported sui
cidal comments in order to
harass the woman and no
charges for misuse of 911
services will be taken due
to lack of contact informa
tion.
•suspicious activity at
a Brenda Street, Statham,
residence. A woman said
her two juvenile grandsons
told her an older lady with
red hair was sitting in a
black car taking pictures
of them.
The black car was parked
at the intersection of Ernie
Way and Brenda Street.
The woman said her
grandsons told her they had
never seen the car before
and they did not get the
license plate number as the
red haired woman drove
away.
A responding deputy told
the complainant that the
woman could have been
taking pictures of a for sale
sign in the front yard of a
neighboring property.
The deputy also said it is
possible the red haired lady
was taking pictures of the
house for sale, however, the
deputy also told the woman
if she were to see the car
again, she should try to get
the license plate number so
the driver could be identi
fied and contacted.

stolen property.
