DDA makes plans for walking trail
for Big Indan Creek project

Big plans are in store for
a walking trail to be con
structed at the Big Indian
Creek project. Phase one has
been surveyed and the nec
essary paperwork has been
submitted for the project to
begin.
According to Chad
Bryant of Ocmulgee Site
& Environmental once the
group began surveying the
land they came across wet
lands and other spots that
they cannot encroach on
without a permit.
MGTC announces summer quarter
President's Honor Roll

Dr. Ivan Allen, president
of Middle Georgia Technical
College, announced recent
ly that the following area
students were named to the
Middle Georgia Technical
College President’s Honor
Roll for Summer Quarter
2008.
In order to qualify for the
President’s Honor Roll, stu
dents must carry a full load
of 12 or more credit hours
and have a 4.0 GPA for the
quarter’s work. In addition,
students must carry a work
ethics score of 2 or better
for each course completed.
There were a total of 153
students who qualified for
the 2008 Summer Quarter
President’s Honor Roll.
