To my United States and World-wide Read

T HAVE received many testimonials from proses-

The following from a highly educated and popuiar

The Place to Buy Crockery. —We
have long thought that Messrs. Mc-
Bride & Cos., had one of the handsom
est stores especially internally, to
be found in the city of Atlanta. One
almost imagines himself in a fairy pal
ace as he surveys the beautifully ar
ranged shelves of china, glass, porce
lain, granite and silver plated ware,
which gives such an air of beauty
to the place. But attractive as is the
stock, the propietors would prefer to
exchange it for greenbacks—and they
are ‘‘mighty right.” Then we say to
one and all, in town and country, if
anything is wanted in the crockery
line go to Mcßride & Co.’s store.

Editing a Paper. —The following was
found in the office of an editor by a
country sheriff. Editing a paper is a
very pleasant thing. If it contains too
much political matter, people won’t
have it; if it contains too little, they
won’t have it; if the type is too large,
it don’t contain enough reading matter; j
if the type is too small, they can’t read
it; if we publish telegraph reports, folks I
say they are nothing but lies; if we
omit them they say we have no enter
prise, or suppress them for political ef

giving original selections; if we
publish original selections, folks say
we are lazy for not giving them what
they have not read in some other pa
per; if we give a man complimentary
notices, we are censured for being par
tial; if we publish an article which
pleases the ladies; the men become
jealous; if we do not cater to their
wishes, the paper is not fit to be in
their houses; if we attend church the} r
say it is only for effect; if we do not,
they denounce us as deceitful and des
perately wicked; if we speak well of
any act, folks say we dare not do
otherwise; if we censure, they call us
a traitor; if we remain in our office,
and attend to business, folks say we
are too proud to mingle with our fel- j

This witt certify that two’members of my immediate
family, after having suffered for many years from
menstrual irregularity, and have been treated without
benefit, by various medical doctors, were, at length,
completely cured by one bottle of T>r„ J. Bradfleld’a
Female Regulator. I, therefore, deem It my duty to
fui nish this certificate, with the hope of drawing the
attention of suffering woman-kind to the merits of a
medicine whose power, in curing irregular and sup
pressed menstruation, has been proven under my own
personal observation. Us effect on such cases is truly
wonderful, and well may the remedy be called “Wo
man’s Best FrieDd.” Yours, respectfully,
JAS. W. STRANGE,
