In addition to Mr. Eppes, who la in
charge of the sales department in the

Mr. Albln P. Dearlng, president of Ibis

one of the owners of the Athens Eire
trio Street Railway Company, and senior
member of the Bearing Hardware Oom
pany.
Mr. William E. Eppes, vioe president
snd active manager of the business, is a
native of Florida, hat has lived here for
the past twenty-three years Mr. Eppes
is a great great-grandson of Thorns*
Jefferson, author of the Deo'aration of
Independence and founder of the Diuf-
oratic party.
Mr. Eppes, by virlno of his long ex
perience in the grocery business, has
brought an abundance of auooeea to this
company.
Mr. Simuel B. Wilkins, secretary of
the Eppes Wilkins Company, came to
Athens a few years since from Union
Point. He is in charge of the book
keeping and office work of the company
and is as efficient a man as can be found
anywhere.
The growth of the business of this
oompany has been nothing short of
phenonional. Its volume of business is
now many times as large as it was in
the first few years and its Increase is
suoh as to guarantee its beocmlng of lm- j

The Clasaio City Dental Rooms in tbe
McDowell building on College avenne,
are in charge of Dr. 0. A. Ryder, as
manager, and Dr. 0. A. Constantine as
secretary. There are six rooms in this
establishment with three dental chairs,
as well as a splendidly equipped labora
tory, in whloh is to be be found the
latest and best equipment for improved
dental work.
The best work is guaranteed and at
the most reasonable prices. The Idea of
this establishment is to keep busy all
tue time and consequently they place
friends in that oity. For ten years he
did dental work for my family in

The firm of Arnold & Sorrells was or
ganized a few months since and ban al
ready established a reputation seoond to
none in the city.

her of the firm, came to Athens in 1880
from Charleston, 8. O. Since that time
be has been engaged in the paint busi
ness and is an expert in his line.
From a small beginning he worked up

Mr. Arnold has served eight years as

Twenty five men am employed by this
firm, ihe greater number being in Iht
paint business Mr. Arnold has had
twenty-five years experience in this
work, and the firm is c impotent to giv»
the almost satisfaction to patrons. A
great majority of the houses in Athens,
painted in reoent years, have been
painted by Mr. Arnold’s men.
